Camping Info
Lick
Fork
Lake
has 9 sites, however they are first come, first served. Cost is $7.00 per
night, which includes water...not at each site, but at several locations
throughout the campground... (no electricity). There are showers available
at the day use area. Not every site has fire rings. Each site has a picnic table
and some have pedestal grills.
Each site is different size, but most people either use tents or
"small" RV's (remember no electricity, but people can use generators
from
7 am
to
10 pm
.). There are SST's for restroom facilities in the campground and at the
trailhead and pit toilets in campground.
Hamilton
Branch
State Park
at Plum Branch SC also offers camping. They
have 200 sites. I do not know the
cost. Try looking at their web site
www.southcarolinaparks.com. Hamilton Branch is about 12 miles from the Horn
Creek Trail.
