Description:
The Palmetto Parkway Bike Path is
a paved bike path that parallels the Palmetto Parkway (the
SC side of I-520) between Ascauga Lake Rd and Atomic Rd.
It's a somewhat challenging ride as it has some
decently large rolling hills.
Avoid riding the parkway in the
heat of the day during the summer, there is no shade at all.
Connector Routes:
Some locals have found a way to
connect the Palmetto Parkway with the N. Augusta Greenway
for a 20ish mile ride all the way around North Augusta, and
most of the route is on car free bike paths.
Winding down hills, and
winding climbs.
